Instead of predominantly investing in stocks, these entities are increasingly directing substantial amounts, ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars in some cases, towards the acquisition of foreclosed and Real Estate Owned (REO) houses. This trend indicates a growing interest in the residential real estate market, particularly in the acquisition and rental of distressed properties.
The returns they can get doing that are much greater right now than they’re seeing in the stock market.
